  • In the cold, it is important to note that the snow crystals become very sharp and cause drag on the ski. Skiing in the classic lane where the snow has been packed down with be much smoother than the skate lane. 
  • Field tests show ULL*A Glide Wax in Green to be a best performer on cold transformed, cold artificial, and cold old snow, and any terrain with a harder packed surface.
